Jo and Pauline regularly give talks and arrange book launches in the North of England and London. They have also spoken at International Women's Festival events and given advice on collaborative writing at libraries and literature festivals in North and West Yorkshire.

'Poison Pen' launch events included the York Literature Festival, Saltaire Festival, York library services, Ockley Arts Festival and a London launch in Mayfair.

'Foul Play' was successfully launched at the York Big City Read, Malton Festival, St Martin-le-Grand (York), Dringhouses Library (York), the Ockley Arts Festival and The Book Shop (East Grinstead).

Events for 'Close Disharmony' included a London launch, a 1950's event in York with a close harmony choir and the Ockley Arts Festival.

Due to the Pandemic, 'Poetic Justice' events were held mainly on-line: fun, but not the same as live events. Stairwell Books hope to arrange a retrospective celebration, as several of their books were affected by lockdowns.

'Skull Days' launch events were also somewhat muted as many venues had not fully reopened by then but included talks to WI and Countrywomen’s Association groups and at libraries in York and Selby, all of which were well attended. Jo and Pauline also featured at a number of fairs and festivals in the area.

They are already in discussions about events to launch ‘Night Call’. More information later! Do contact us if you’d like us to hold an event for your group or venue.
